Quakecon registration begins Monday, 9PM EST

If you plan on going to Quakecon, set aside that time to register ASAP. Sure there are a few thousand slots, but trust me, BYOC registration will fill up within hours.

You want to go to quakecon. You need to go to quakecon. Quakecon pwns. And yes, its more than just Quake, silly nubs.

    bah why no one ever do HL tourneys? Quake X = hold down the trigger and spew forth more ammo than your opponent. BAH I say BAH!

    beheading me wont shut me up! Quake style games will never touch HL type stuff. Call me a fanboy if you want, but deep down inside you know Im right.

    ie. Guy with handgun in HL can kill guy with any other weapon.

    ie. Guy In quake with handgun is fragbait till he picks up weapon with high rate of fire.

    but im not in the mood for a debate on HL vs Quake

    Operation Flashpoint was another great game that put the smackdown on Quake, however the mutiplayer support was terrible...

    I just hated the way Quake type games feel, even the new wolfenstien still had that fake feel to it. Like moving thorugh plastic or something... too smooth? I dont know just feel wrong compared to HL or Operation Flashpoint..

    If you're a silly moron, don't reply. If you have no interest in quakecon, please don't go. As much fun as it'd be to kick you in person, you're probably taller than me anyway so it'd be a bad idea.

    I havent played quake 2 in sooo long, I would still love to go though.

    I TOTALLY agree with GreyPaws, but one thing I liked about Quake was it's fast paced gun fights, and the funking looking guns you get. But that soon died away.
