Ah, something to add to the library of excruciating pain. About a year ago I was talking with a friend of mine in the Armored Cavalry division on the Tank-target range. At the moment we're both wearing protective ear guards to block the decible intensive noise that's near us. Unbeknownst to me, my friend has arranged for one of his buddies to swing the turret around behind my head and fire it off. At about the exact moment it fires, I take off my ear guards to relieve the chaffing on my ears. I wasn't able to hear for about 2 weeks, plus my ears were bleeding intensively and I was getting headaches the likes of which no one should get. I also have a large scar across the back of my head from the incident as well.

To give you an idea of how loud the blast was, it was a bit like this:

KA-FRIGGIN-BLOOWEY!

My scars:

Scar on my arm from stocking a retail store shelf. Ran the inside of my lower left arm across a sharp shelf area.
Scar around my left eyeball from being bit by a lap dog when I was 3 years old.
Scars on both knees from falling off my bike onto gravel when I was around 6.
Scars from surgeries.

I have a small area of darker skin equidistant from both of my nipples and my bellybutton, because of excema. And no, before you ask, it is not a 3rd nipple. And yes, it is more sensitive than normal skin.

I've got wounds and scars all over my body. I skateboard so i get more then my usual dosage of wounds scars, weird marks and what not. Lately i've been pretty bruised up with some stuff on my left leg that looks all red and nasty. Got that when my skateboard knicked me in the leg.

I also have a red mark on my hand. I got that when I fell off my skateboard and my hand landed right on a pointy rock. LoL i was bleeding alright. I tried to do that thing in Saving private ryan where you apply pressure to the wound so that it stops bleeding or something. I dunno if it worked or not.

It hurts when i open my hand. =\

Yeah and marks all over my body from falling off my skateboard.

I got a scar on my right bicep from a .22 bullet. I was walking down a path when some kid shot at a sqirrel but missed, unfortunatley. It missed the bone but I cant say it felt good. And Renegade, either you tell one hell of a lie or youre one tough ****.

I was skating down the street really really fast down a hill. I was doing fine till these punks drove past me and threw their super sized soda at me and hit me in the back. When the car was going like 30 mph that ful soda realy hit hard. I fell and slid on my back for a good 15 feet. My shirt was shredded and so was my back.

You can only imagine how utterly I wanted an AK47 right then and there.

The bullet and tank stories are real. It sometimes hurts when I pee hard, due to the internal damage inflicted by the bullet. The only reason I survived the shot was because it didn't hit any organs or arteries. It just kinda skimmed right by them (it just BARELY missed my stomach, kidneys, and major blood vessels, barely). If I had been standing about 8 millimeters to the left, I probably wouldn't be alive right now.

Well I hanvt been shot yet, (poor renegade) and hopefully no criminal law breaking punk kid will ever try to shoot at me in the future... I plan on wearing my body armour the first day of my OCPD internship all the time. (Ocean City Police Department, get paid $$ and college credits to be a seasonal cop)

But yea heres a good one. A few years ago I fell and hit my head on something. I dont even know for sure, maybe i was knocked out i dont know, but I have a 2 inch long dent in my head. Its big enough so that you can really feel it too. But luckily you cant ell unless I totally shave my head.

When I was around 5, I walked into the bathroom. Little did I know that my brother and his idiot friend were just coming in from the backyard. I found a bag of popcorn I knew to be his. I walked in there, waving the bag around, and going, "Hey, John (my brother), you gotta finish this bag!".
Right then, Adam (the village idiot friend), slams the door in my face. Now, I was very short for my age. I was about 5-7, and as tall as the doorknob. We had a sharp-circled kind of doorknob, one like a... Roman theatre of sorts (a huge, crater, basically... middle of crater is keyhole and lock). Not like the other ones. So, basically, the doorknob smashed into my skull, and I fell down on the hard tile. The idiot locked the door, and he didn't even open that. About then, the blood seeped into my eyeballs, and so I sort of blacked out right then. Next thing I know, my sister and mom picked me up (my dad cussed out the idiot), and threw me in the car (Camry), and drove me to the hospital.
It didn't really hurt... I just had this nagging feeling up there, like an itch that I couldn't scratch. I thought it would be so cool to have a circle imprinted on my forehead, but it wasn't really a circle. More like a curved gash. I got 4 stitches. My scar is still faintly on my forehead, you can see it if you know what you're looking for.

Do not try these things ever and under any circumstances. They are very stupid and dangerous. I consider myself lucky to be alive.

I once got a scratch across my face and eyelid from the rusted, frayed end of a steel cable we were using as a swing into a river. I feel very lucky to have an eye.

Another time I was melting down some KnO3 over a gas burner when I decided it would be a good idea to pour some of the molten stuff into a bowl of cold water. It exploded when it hit the water and I was splattered with molten KnO3 (Melting point 333 deg c). I've now got hundreds of little white spots all over my arms and legs where it splashed.

Once I had a small teapot with some methylated spirits in it. I was heating it over a flame and decided to drop a match down the spout. The lid blew off and a fireball took off one of my eyebrows.

I was over my mate’s house when I was about 10 and I jumped off his trampoline onto a plank of wood with a rusted nail sticking up though it. I don’t know what hurt more, it or the tetanus shots I had to get afterwards.

The same mate of mine, my girlfriend and I were making some smoke powder. My mate put a small tin of it back in the wood-fired oven we were using to dry it, when he tipped it over a little. It flashed back into the tin and exploded burning KnO3 and sugar all down his leg. He was running around saying getsomewatergetsomewatergetsomewatergetsomewater. I directed him to jump in the pool. He ended up with second degree burns all down his leg. On an unrelated note, we had a big kettle with a heap of KnO3 and sugar in it and we were experimenting with melting it down. We had a small fire set up in a can underneath it. We forgot about it for a while. All of a sudden I heard this bubbling, popping sound coming from it. I grabbed my friend by the back of his shirt and pulled him away from the bench as the teapot caught fire. Thankfully my girlfriend was already away from it. A solid collum of smoke erupted from the teapot and shot about 4 metres into the sky. This lasted for about 7 seconds, all the while we were backing away. It filled my fairly large back yard with smoke so thick you couldn’t see a meter in front of you. We leaned over the fence and apologised to the neighbours that were having a cup of tea outside at the time. There was a cactus and a stack of candles about 30 cm away from the teapot. The candles were melted into a solid lump and the cactus was charred on one side. There was that much radiated heat, it wasn’t funny.

Another time with the same friend we were playing with a flammable-propellant spud cannon. It can fire a spud about a kilometre at 45 degrees. There was a small hole in the firing chamber. I had used it many times without a problem but it was his first go. He held it too close to his body, so when he fired it, a jet of flaming gas came out and burnt a neat hole though his shirt and into his skin. He didn't notice it until I pointed it out. He was grumpier about his USD$30 shirt having a hole burnt in it than he was about his skin.

I know I cheated a bit by telling about my friend but it makes a good story.
