Looks ok for a first go. You would of course first want to anti-alias the borders around the turrets and the phasegate, making them smoother.

There is no use curving the text like that, make it in a plain straight line. If you really want it, try only a small curve and without lowering the height or width of the far sided letters. (Give it a smile shape (I know no better way to tell you <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> ))

I agree with 3p13k00ng3n on da l 33t h@XX gh3tto g-unit turr3ts, they stand out like blingbling yo FREE YAYO. And dont be hat1ng with yo' curvy t3xt, its all like "i @r3 t3h real deal yo" while you just blingin' it.

the turrets should indeed be smoother,

I don't like the green tiles but that's just personal preference, it's not that it's badly done. I think it's a great job.

its ok but stay away from filters, or ill hafta call ye a ****. make things flow into one another better, take some tutorials, youll be aight

This is pretty good! My first Photoshop working (My signature) wasn't half as good... I used Filters ;_;
