Need A Few Admin's To Ok Something.
Ok, recently Talesin messaged me saying my avatar was too large in it's filesize. So it got nuked, meh I'm alright with that.
However it got me thinking.
He said the max limit for an avatar is 22kb, now we also know that signature limit is 22kb as well. Ergo 44kb is the maximum size of the images a user can have in his or her avatar and signature.
Now what happens if I just want to have an avatar that is 37.4kb and a signature that's 2.5kb making for a combined total of 39.4k (Let's just round it up to 40k for sake of the argument)
Would if be ok to do something like this? Just trying to gather the general admin consensus on it.
For those interested, here's the avatar I want to use.

If I had an animated avatar 22k in size, and a different animated signature 22k I'm using 44k. Which is defined as perfectly ok.
Yet if I shift it over so the avatar is 37.5k and the sig is 2.5k. Yet this is still 4k under the 44k limit. I'm sucking away 4k less bandwidth -_-
I could probably remove a few frames here and there (Which I will probably do if I get the go ahead), but it's hardly worth the effort for the rather insignificant gain I would get in size difference.
For the sake of the current agruement, it's what I want at 37.5k -_-
Here's the unoptimised original file at 60k
Every 2nd frame removed (Though you can't notice it)

It's a "Wait for the moderator consensus on acceptable file sizes".
