<div class="IPBDescription">Community Reaction</div> Everyone who reads this forum is a fan of NS, and probably everyone has seen the HL2 movie or at least some screenshots. I think it would be a wonderful thing to see Natural Selection make a transfere to HL2. What is the community reaction to this idea? How can the community help the NS Team? If NS is to make the transfere, I would guess the team would need to expand in size to get a beta and further updates out in a timely manner. Can the community help the team in other ways besides donating funds (Meaning, can the NS team recruit more members from the community)?
I want to know what the NS community thinks, but I also would like some insight into the NS team's discussion on this matter. I know almost everyone will buy HL2 when it arrives and I would hate to see NS fall by the wayside.
So, reactions?

Good luck, all you have to do is become a moderator
This topic has been posted several times per week since before HL2 was even announced.
Transfering over to the hl2 engine would mean that NS would have to be STRICTLY a hl2 mod, AND it would mean that we'd be playtesting/betatesting for the next 10 months, atleast.. and that's IF flayra recruited the community...
That being said, I know I'd be more than willing to devote every spare second I have to NS development, and I'm more than willing to aid in ne way I can... *3d modling/coding/pt-ing/ w/e* I am sure other ppl fee the smae way *and might have more skills at those things, since I'm a dabler, and haven't stuck to one thing or another.. I can code some, I can model some.. I've done some scripting before.. etc..*
Now, down to brass tacks:
I'm not going to stop playing NS b/c HL2 comes out. NS is way more intense than ne non-online game could be I think, and I love the game to death... so I don't think I'll stop playing it in the near future. I also think that the overhead as far as devel time/energy goes is way to much to warrent thinking about this till 1.1 is out, and established.. and I think flay might agree with that.
