<div class="IPBDescription">Hi there!</div>Hi, Im making a map for NS called NS_beliskner, and I just thought I'd make myself known.

I doubt ill make your deadline, but I just want to make the map anyway

Ill put some shots in of the first bits of some work ive done already, but these are just to show what i can do and dont really represent the final map.

    Hi!  Nice hive room.  A resource collector built on that node will probably block that hallway.

    wow, lovely hive! as for the hallway, its a bit too skinny. probably needs to be at least 1/3 larger. and yes, resource nodes in the middle are a bad idea, because if anybody puts a tower on em, then nobody can get through the hall till the other team blows it up. those are always best put in corners or the middle of an open area...

    i never understand why all keep saying that light needs contrast when in that pics he uses a nice blue-green in the corridor and a red-green-orange in the hives lighting is good, an the contrast thing is something you can only feel at playing not at a pic.

    The piling infestation in the first pic is nice. However(unless the bgstory says otherwise) the hive room could use something slightly broken. The light is a bit bright as well.

    Unless you're going to totally redo the whole thing, the pipes(in the next two) above could use some steam coming out from them.

    i like the first alien hive pic ...  the resource node in the second pic is in a weird spot however...  not enough room...  resource nodes should be in relatively open yet defendable areas...

    Lovelly Hiveroom, nice hallway, u should cut away some supports,for map clipnodes saving and to cut repetivety.

    Blueman,CONTRAST don't means "difference of colors" but a marked passage from a color to another. Lot of people confuse in fact u see often also in this forum red light MERGED with blue or white...but merging to much colors is not good, to me kinda looks psichedelic(wrote well? <!--emo&???--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'><!--endemo--> )while lightning must remarks details and imitate reality

    I can't see much on this crappy monitor (not your fault, not my computer, don't worry! Old 486 monitor, heh)
    Anyways, contrast in lighting usually means (in NS terms), large difference in lighting, such as spotlight lighting a person on a stage or a flashlight. It means there is light in the room, with the corners darker for aliens to hide in <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    Thanks for the feedback, I'm going to change that big bright light in the hive, or make it less bright and give it an infested look too.

    The second corridor, I should have said about the resource node, because im new to ns i just wanted to see what one would look like ingame so i put it there. Its my fault for not mentioning it, and also for leaving it in the screenshots.

    Im gonna get some steam coming from those pipes too i think, that would break up the corridor and make it look more interesting, i might 'break' one of the wall panels to and put some wires in the crack with a small light or something
