<div class="IPBDescription">Something else i was wondering</div> There is alot of good music out there of all genres in PC and console games.
Morrowind has lots of excellent classical type music tracks.
The guitar theme to VietCong and the instrumental theme to Mafia is one of my favorites as well.
Also of good note is some of the insturmental scores from the Resident Evil games. The Piano tracks for the save rooms are pretty cool in my opinion.
Oh yea I liked the origional theme to Rainbow 6 too. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Anyone know of any other game with cool soundtracks?

Hmm... that's all I can think about right now.
I also know that as crappy/good (your opinion there) as the game was, Battlefield 1942 got an award for its intro video and musical score. Even though it only had like 2 songs lol. I think MOHAA got the award for the previous year.
Resident Evil is decent too.
Grand Theft Auto (3 or VC)...its part of the game...sorta.
Final Fantasy VII has excellent music too, I don't think there's a soundtrack for it though.

The other game ost's are in my other removable HDD. I just switch them around cause I ran out of space on this tower.....
My all time favourite being Yoko Kanno. She's just a sexy musical goddess.
And though others may not care for it, get the japanese theme to the anime Escaflowne, I forget the name of the girl, but she has an awesome voice, I believe she was 13 or 14 when she recorded the song.
*songs up*
<<<<God of Anime OST's
The Cowboy Bebop 5 disk set is the best collection of anime soundtracks ever. (Even better than the Evangelion ones)
In particular tracks 12 (Fish Silent Cruise) and 15 (Were the great)
I hope there's a second OST......

rtcw had music?
I'm very serious about the recommendations Cowboy Bebop and above. Warcraft etc have some very good songs but not all.. Unreal & UT have a few good songs out of their many.. but b/c there are so many total for them I end up with good sized library of Unreal music.. (it's all drum n bass/techno/industrial tho, or else very mellow chillout/mood music...) actually the same can be said of the games listed later (in that they have a lot of good songs out of a lot of songs total) but I just don't rate them as highly for whatever reason, despite having very good songs
