I don't know if anyone follows this game (made in Germany), but it's called Soldner and has some pretty interesting design concepts. At 128 players, it's sort of a 'medium'-mutiplayer online game, more along the Planetside twist of things, set about 30 years from now. It even has sort of an NS (but more like Tribes) commander mode for organizing games, tons of vehicles and huge (3000KM) outdoor areas. Some of the design sounds completely implausible or doomed to failure, but other bits sound very interesting. It also has some TERRIFIC artwork - the art guys at this group are nearly in a Cory-level, so it's very easy on the eyes.
