Ns Server Setup Help....

I am trying to setup a dedicated NS server. I am running XP Pro, at this point no metamod or adminmod. When trying to run 4.1.1.1 the server runs for about 30 seconds and crashes. I have tried using there gui and a
(-console -game ns +map ns_caged +maxplayers 10) shortcut. I can run the server as TFC or DOD and have no problems at all. I got fed up last night and uninstalled the server and reinstalled 4.1.0.9 and the server runs fine other than the fact that when people try to connect it tells them the server is out of date and disconnects them. I have set up a few HLDS's in the past with admin and meta mod so I do understand the concept. Does anyone have any suggestions that would either get the 4.1.1.1 server running or let people connect to the 4.1.0.9 server. Thanks for your time.....

Also get the 4.1.1.1a patch for win32, as I'm running this (albeit on win2k) and it works fine. I did a completely fresh install of HLServer then chucked in my ns directory and it works fine <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
