    Assembly might be the hardest language to code, but it's definitly the most efficent. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    another step forward in visal perfection in computer games. I hope one day someone will take the leap and revive VR to make games fully immersive

    I heard about this a few weeks ago, and it seems it's too heavily oriented towards nVidia's current hardware, despite their attempts to make it more generally accepted, plus it's going to be obsolete by the time OpenGL 2.0 appears.

    It won't be useless by any means, but it's more of a stopgap and programming convenience tool than a permanent addition, whatever nVidia might say. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    narby VR == dead
    the things we can expect these couple of years are:
    Argumented Reality : a set of glasses with GPS in it. Example: i stand on the beaches of normandy  argumented reality can display pictures on the glasses togheter with GPS they can pinpoint ur exact location and display the images u want to see. in this case the allied landing on D-day.

    second thing that is comming it Holografic television
    it's just like a normal holographic image only animating

    Well, with or without the arrival of OpenGL 2.0, I've always been heavily interested in visual effects programming, and I'm intrigued as to what this new language could in theory accomplish.  No more assembly language!!  HOORAY!!
