jees people, do read the faq the is bad, it hardly provides any info and for people to look at the faq does not really answer alot lol.. Stop saying look at the faq jees its old..When was the faq written? and how much is already known about the game that the testers know and wont tell? <span style='color:red'>*We aren't allowed to tell, as many aspects change weekly, and we don't want rumours starting each week*</span> So dont get offended when people ask something simple.. dont spazz out if they missed 1 line in the faq that they missed if it makes u that mad that they did not read then thats weird lol.. as for the fact that they did not look at the forum is a mixed opinion. the forum is huge and to read all the questions can get old if they want a quick answer.. just give people some slack and dont be so snobby.. im just mad at work right now dont get mad it will be ok just a few more months of summer then back to school jees life sucks the big one we eat sleep and die sure we do stuff in the middle but thats all we realyl do were like parasites and if any one tries to argue read the forum !!! the answer is in their the answer to life is in the forum find it and get a doller!!!

That's why we suggest that newcomers read the FAQs (there are a bunch, and they're a bit scattered, and not always completely up-to-date - we're sorry!<!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo--> - to give you a general background. Additionally, a lot of questions not in the FAQs have been answered in the Forums or at least discussed... a forum search can be very enlightening.
The developers are working their butts off to get this mod polished and released as quickly as possible, which is why the FAQs haven't been updated recently... trust us, it's for the best, and you'll love NS when it's finally out. (:
Now, you are getting all mad at us for saying please read the FAQ. If everyone goes to the pool, and asks if they can dive into the shallow end, while a sign is on the wall saying "NO DIVING", do you think a life guard would just point to the sign and tell them to read, most likely. I do have an outside life, and I don't need to sit here, and be a robot, 50 questions, over and over and over. I can easily slap a link to the FAQ, tell the reader to check there and move on. FAQ = effective, but readers = lazy <!--emo&:(--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('><!--endemo-->
Heck, even I forget if stuff has been asked sometimes, and I am lazy too. I still use the search function to do a 5 minute look around though, cause you can usually find out 10 more things in the process that you didn't know either.

(Also keep in mind that if one person is rude to you, it doesn't mean the whole community is like that. That sort of stuff just happens. I haven't seen it (I don't pay close enough attention), but I have a feeling that's what may have happened.)

Asking questions like what weapons/aliens/abilities/commander stuff will be in when its all listed on a single site does tend to annoy people.
If I could make reading the FAQ a -requirement- to posting, complete with multiple choice test over the basics of the mod, I would. But I don't think that the code of the board supports that.
Today I installed WinXP on my other comp (still some problems configuring the network so still no internet there) and thanks to the Windows Tuning section at RR.org I've gotten lots of useful tips for stuff to do during and after installation. (Thanks MonsE)
There, now I don't need to make a new thread in off-topic thanking MonsE and talking about how great XP is. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
Thanks.
