<div class="IPBDescription">Bruce Almighty. Check out this Trailer</div> Being the huge fan of comedy films I am, I HAD to
give this a mention here.
<a href='http://www.brucealmighty.com/' target='_blank'>http://www.brucealmighty.com/</a>
(2 Official Trailers, try em both for slightly different content)
Plot Summary: "Bruce Almighty" stars Jim Carrey as Bruce Nolan, a "human interest" television reporter in Buffalo, New York who is discontented with almost everything in life, despite his popularity and love of his girlfriend Grace (Aniston). At the end of the worst day in his life, Bruce angrily ridicules and rages against God- and God responds. He appears in human form (Freeman) and, endowing Bruce with all His divine powers, challenges Bruce to take on the big job and see if he can do it any better.

NOTE: Jim Carrey types EXACTLY like me <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

But yes, that movie looks great, going to see it this weekend probably.
That movie was awesome and absolutely hilarious.
And it really wasn't sacrilegious. It was more about what if a man had the power to do whatever he wanted, would he succeed ? Or fail ?
I liked it.
but quite abit of it did make me laugh. Maybe its just
my great sense of humour <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
I haven't yet seen a release date for Bruce Almighty
in UK cinema's so I'll see it as soon as possible.
I liked it. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
Yeah, Cable Guy's the best.
Helps to read my post rather than just skim it.
I didn't say it made more money than Reloaded overall, I said it made more THIS WEEKEND. As in, Reloaded has been out a week, and this movie had its premiere Friday or something like that. For just THIS WEEKEND, the movie knocked Reloaded to #2...
so basically, that's the subliminal message.
also, the movie was pretty good. it had some parts that'll have you aching, belly laughing, etc. but... it's pretty sappy. so if you like really funny sh*t, right, and you also like sappy sap sap, then you'll like it. also, whatsherface isn't that great. her part's pretty shallow.
edit: you DO get to see Jennifer Aniston ( i remembered her name) with *SLIGHTLY* enlarged gazooms.. but that's pretty much the highest point of the flick.
You're kidding me right? Two words: Truman show.
Though it was funny that doesn't make it any less serious. With all these docu soaps polluting the air (survivor, big bother, popstars...) the next frontier will be The Truman show.
BTW, God is Alanis Morisette
And DOOM, yeah, seeing the Matrix for the Nth time definately beats anything else. I'm not even interested in any other movie. I saw the commercial for the Italian Job (which I would normally find supremo-bad-****) and I barely even noticed it.
also, i want to see matrix reloaded again, just for the action scenes.
and, i want bruce almighty to come out in australia soon, so i can go see it
