Welcome back Monse, congratulations on the marriage, and good luck.
You're gonna need it.
But you might be able to settle her down with some haggis if she gets too rowdy <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
Actually, MonsE was without net access for the last three weeks. I guess we can deduce who's got the pants on in that relationship <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Welcome back MonsE. Stay in the Off-Topic forum. Every other forum is full of insane people and flamahrz. Except for Suggestions and Ideas, though. It's still a place where you lose your brains when you click on a topic.
yeah General discussion is going through yet another "omg you have changed something! change it back now!" Phase. This time with the 'lerk bite'. But lets avoid that whole issue.
Welcome back MonsE. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
I was implying that MonsE was whipped, as in, he's the woman in the relationship, IE, his wife ahs the power. I wasn't implying anything with actual whips.......

You did not visit me like you promised you were going to. And by "visit me", I really mean "not visit me". Amazing. Just out of interest, how long did it take you to get from Scotland to London? Im guessing about a week, because with Virgin Trains it takes me about a day to get from Birmingham to York. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Anyhow, I noticed there was rather a large increase in sunshine a couple of weeks ago, which can only be a good sign for you and Mrs. Evil. I wish you both the best.
(No making jokes about Virgin Trains, or i'll slap your beans upside the head)
Bah. Trains are for the weak. We flew from the US to London, then caught a connection to Edinburgh. Then Back to London, on to Amsterdam, then back to London. Then on to US all over again. I did use the tube a few times, and a couple tourbus trips, but it was mostly walking and cabs when necessary.
I will reiterate that I did not line Chirac's/greedy unionist's pockets by traveling via France at all. Completely avoided them.
I had no idea how much Virgin owned! Around here they are music megastores in a couple bigger cities. In the UK they are EVERYTHING. Virgin airways, trains, music... Virgin hotdogs, virgin kilts, virgin fishing poles, virgin streetlights, the Virgin Queen ( <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> ), etc...
I unfortunately have no food pics, although I wish I had. I never had any *bad* food the whole trip, although when I tried to eat anything in the London that was not invented by the english, things got very bland. Like their afternoon tea, or breakfast, or chips, etc. were all top-notch. But if I had london-mexican food, or london-italian food, it just tasted like unsalted paper. Not bad, just flavorless. Someone buy these guys some oregano!
I also saw The Matrix Reloaded in Leicester Square at the Village. We could only get tickets the following day after the premiere, at 11PM, as it had been a madhouse of PR with Keanu and COmpany down their at teh red carpet earlier. Well worth it though. I also saw Arsenic and Old Lace (with Micheal Richards, aka Kramer from Seinfeld) at the Strand. What a great time!
Edit to clarify: I did have good italian food in London though, at a place called Rez's, in the theater district. But it was made by Italians, not english people.

Virgin Cola, Virgin Mobile phones, Virgin holidays, Cinemas, Banking, Radio, Wine, etc. Yes, Mr. Branson pretty much has his hand in every honeypot there is.
"...and it was prophecised that the the Lord MonsE would return in our time of need, and lo, it was so, Vets and PTs alike received a good slapping, and order was brought to the NS forums was again..."
