Ns Executable Out Of Date?

ok, I just reformatted my computer and reinstalled windows 2000 pro. I also just installed HL and NS. I can load NS one time. Then the next time I go to load it, HL tells me that the NS executable is out of date. I have to reinstall HL and NS again, to be able to play NS ONE more time. The same thing happens with CS, and TFC. I've tried every combination of reinstalling. from just HL update, to HL, NS and CS. I don't know what else to do...anyone have any suggestions?
