Teh Sneaky Gorge Tactic

<div class="IPBDescription">pwn</div> Here's the thing:

Go into the marine base and hide. Make sure no-one noticed you.

Save up res, and at some point go gorge. Save up more res. Don't get detected.

When you think you have enough res, wait until all the marines have left the base. Then drop mad amounts of OCs everywhere, or make a WoL. Sit back and watch the marine base go down.

This is a pretty old tactic, but still works <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Marine stupidity never ceases to amaze me <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    First on an aside, marines are not stupid, just ignorant, there is a difference. Stupidity on there part, shame on them, ignorance on their part, hooray for you.

    This will probably work, as marines leave the base undefended 19/20. Some maps are harder to hide in the marine spawn than others, such as eclipse. Some are easier such as bast. And it is hard to sneak into the marine base undectected sometimes. This also leaves your team without a fighter for a long time. Just some things to think about, but if you get past these hitches then it seems like it would work.

    Easy maps: Bast, Caged

    Hard maps: Eclipse, Tanith, Nothing

    Hiding behind the enemy CC doubles your chances. Noboby ever looks behind it.

    I've ran thru this strat numerours times in my head and it would work on bast

    basically get into the com chair area

    2 oc's, 2 dc's

    then go back down, wait for the elevator to go up, and drop and other two oc's and a dc, that way the elevator can't go back down, and marines can't go up, then just drop random oc's in the base and have fun

    this can also work when marines have relocated. for example: maint. you can hide under the pipes and already throw down some dc there <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I've had some success with harassing marines by vomiting DCs & OCs onto that lift next to Marine Start in BAST. Then I've sent it up to them. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> Gives them a hell of a thing to deal with while skulks leap around, hives go up, etc. etc. Fun fun fun in a fluffy chair. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Silence and cloaking would help though,,,a gorge would sound to much n a base for such a long time...jsut imagine the "brrr" "hrrk" they say every now and then...
