No, i don't want a nude female marine, i want a real TSA Marine. Armor helmets and stuff. This is just something i've been wanting to see and tried to model but i sux at modelling.
Hmm, the problem is, the TSA marine is wearing hard armor and a female or male body could be in that armor and the outside shape would not be altered.
Perhaps the waist can be slimmed, and the jaw not so sticking out to bring out a more feminine form, however most of it would lie in a good skin replacement.
I wish there were several marine models (not classes). Ordinarily they would be the same model, so that everyone would be male, but then you could change one model so that in game you'd have, say, 3 males and a female. Kinda random.
Since, I believe, there is a black/white skin that is randomly used, maybe it can be changed to female/male skin instead for random useage?
This way you wouldn't have all female (unless thats what your going for) or all male; it would be a mix

There are plans for an official female marine model at some point (I believe) - it's mostly just a matter of the time needed to model, skin, and animate her. Just making a female reskin would be a poor hack, and even a female model with the male anims wouldn't look quite right, IMO. There's also the matter of sounds - Flay will need to get a voice actress to do the voice for her.

I was working on one a while ago, base off the marine model. I simply moved a few vertices around and added some hair sticking out the helmet. It looked bad so i was gonne redo it but i began work on the pulse rifle.
