i have an awsome gun that i want to model i have never dont it before though i have it drawn out on paper i just want to make it into a model... any good programs u could suggest im familer with q2 models

    you probably need 3d studio max or a other 3d modeling program. The problem with these programs is that they cost a bundle of cash.

    get the trial version of milkshape, a good freeware modelling/animation program is anim8or.

    AFAIK Milkshape is tailored to working with low-poly models that you might see in games.  That and it's only 20 bucks to register in case you find it's something that you really wanna do.

    It's essentially a stripped down version of 3d studio max.  But, if you have any interest in this sort of thing, it's a good interface to familiarize yourself with.
