Green Dots All Over The Map!

ok i installed a new radeon 9000 pro

it looks nice and works the first time and i was amazed at my 40-50 fps.. but then the next day i get back on NS and i find like green dots that blink all over the current map which was ns_nothing

I have it *sometimes* in really dark corners in other mods... I guess it's just a texture problem. I have a GeForce 2 pro so it seems it's rather a HL problem.

What resolution do you run at? I have the same card and I get 80-99 fps!

i run at 1024 by something something i forgot the number

i get a 40-50 fps with the occasional 80 something when im not killing much. its almost orgasmic for me. its a big difference from the 15-20 fps i would get with my old TNT2 card.

I sometimes get dots while playing. But most of the time I do not. Anyway when I do get them all I do is press escape to go to menu then resume the game and there gone.

GF2 GTS 800x600 gives 100 FPS all the time tbh..... and costs maybe £10 now....
But yeah that looks like a battle happened in that corridor recently, looks alot like alien blood.

Alien blood tends to spread more than that when you combine the factors of the cone of fire and the fact chances are the skulk is moving, so I dont think thats what it is, then again I may be wrong

Those dots are a <b>bad</b> sign... It did that on my old G4 before it totally broke down a few months later. (Those are possible signs that your card has been damaged OR is overheating, which happens sometimes if you put a new card in an old computer with insufficient cooling...)
