<div class="IPBDescription">But inappropriate if you're <16</div> So I'm a 1st year Sophomore at college, right? During the beginning of the school year we had some troubles as we had 3 Daves on our floor. There was a short Dave who lived somewhere in NY, so he was named New-York Dave. There was me, a kid from Alabama with no accent, and who is fluent in a foreign language. That stumped them for a while, but I ended up as German Dave. After that, the naming process was no longer necessary (we had NY Dave, GermanDave, and Dave, the system works). Right, so the school year progresses, and that thing known as Rush begins. Ah, sweet blissful Rush. One such Rush event was a pudding wrestling. Things were crazy over there. Women, sweet beautiful women, wrestling in pudding, guys like NY Dave and myself getting thrown in... it was great. Unfortunately for me, I met someone there who didn't know how far I WOULD go. They were doing a reverse Mardi Gras deal, where the women gave fake money to guys for doing stupid things. I met someone who would give me all of her money if I streaked the party.
That night, about 80+ people learned <b>just</b> how far I would go for money, and how inexpensive my pride was. I streaked the party, and was the reason for a new rule to be made for the next pudding wrestling Rush event (which will be next year). Ever since then, I've been known as Naked Dave, and I don't really feel ashamed of the name. That's who I am, the guy who streaked an entire party for <i>fake</i> money.
The reason why this story is important? I'm called "evil twin" by a good friend of mine who goes to another college in the area. She and I don't look anything alike, but we have always acted like siblings towards each other, so we just assumed I was her evil twin. Last night we were hanging out and talking about random things, and someone called me Naked Dave. She had never heard me called that and was confused. I explained to her the story of where the name came from, and found out that <b>she</b> was the one who made me streak in the first place! Small world, eh?
Yeah, I found that funny, and since college stories are all the rage these days, I figured I'd post it.
[postnote] I just realized that some of you might have misconceptions about Rush. Rush at my school is completely dry. I was completely sober, hadn't taken any drugs, and was in complete control of myself when I streaked. But I did get paid for it, so it's all good [/postnote]
