Computer Reboots And Crackling Sound

<div class="IPBDescription">computer reboot when map change and quit</div> I have a problem with NS (and only NS.)

Ingame my sound is crackling og i cant hear what other players are saying.
and when i quit or the map changes my computer reboots.

It works just fine in CS or HL or Q3 and so on. Its only in NS. and thats bad. <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

(im running windows xp@amd xp 1800)

Does anyone have any idea what i can do to fix this problem?
any solutions?

i've solved my problem. did what i read in another post..

enable :
"compatibility mode : windows 98 \ windows me"

works fine with me <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

nope compatibility problem didnt solve my rebooting problem. its very irritating when this occurs
