<div class="IPBDescription">Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, vigilante</div> grrrrrrrrr.
I just started playing vice city this week when it came out for pc. I beat the story game as every good gamer should, then started from scratch and decided to get all the sub-missions done before I got to the story.
Everything went well for getting all the hidden packages, all the rampages, and all the unique jumps except for the ones done in g-spotlight (since they're impossible without doing that mission). Everything also went fine for the ambulance and firefighter sub-missions. Then I started doing vigilante in the hunter helicopter and got all the way up to level 42 after about 2 hours of constant hunting and the game just locked up and crashed.
GRRRRRWARRRRRRRRRRRRMMMRRARARWWWRRRRRRRRR.
440 some odd kills and ~$1,700,000 down the tube through no fault of my own. The hunter wasn't even smoking yet and I had 12 minutes left on that level.
oh well just thought I'd rant before I went back for more torture as I do it again :/

I also own GTAVC, but I've only played it like 30 mins, because I just installed it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
GTA3 was pretty good too.
300. post, yay! My virtual genitals have just grown another inch!
The only real problem I got with GTA:VC:
-When I set it to 1024x768 or even 800x600 it will display to big for my monitor (I run 800x600, and run HL fine in 1024x768).
-The missions are still kinda console like, much much much better then GTA3 missions in terms of not having some damn time limit for everything you do.
-Helicopters/Planes are a **** to fly, I bought Interglobal Films and got to the 2nd mission. Holy crap, not only do you have to be at a certain altitude to pass through checkpoints, but you have to try making all the checkpoints in 1 run!
-There is never a car to jack when you have 7 cop cars, a swat van, and a helicopter on your arse.
-No stamina bar, dunno why, seems like it would make sense with you getting tired if you sprint too much and all.
level 70 something
776 kills, ~$6,000,000 earned
and I had plenty of time left too, 74 minutes and 41 seconds to be exact (screen froze)
It was just too tempting to keep going, I was getting ~$250,000 per level at that point
mebbe I need to just stop when i get to a certain point.
