Had a splendid game on Roob's tonight,
NS_Hera (at least I think it was, Ventilation, Archiving, and Data Core, that one <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> )
The alien team was kinda overpowering the rines skillwise, and we already had taken defense chambers, so we had a good idea: Ze Gorge Rush
Lemme tell you, that was the best laugh ever, 8 gorges, heal spraying the crap out of 8 rines, it was awesome. It was the first time I tried it, and If you just stick together, and keep spraying Heal, take cara,===> you'll live as long as an onos.
So if you ever get the chance, try it, it works surprisingly well!
My question is though, what is your opinion, on how many gorges make a gorge rush viable, we had 8, that was UBERLY great, I imagine 3 to be too less.... Whats your opinion?
PS:
just had a game, handed out 2 packs of mines, with the clear message to mine the IP wich had but nearly survived a rush, not a single one of those 10 mines was even NEAR the ip.... to the guys on that team, I wish many bad things to happen to you!!! you lame **** <<<insert a couple of insults here>>>

yes gorges rushes are funny as hell.
You can get a n00b team to go with it - n00b players seem to evolve into gorges on an alarming scale. Presumably due to cl autohelp which tells them to do it.
I have to disagree with carapace... the gorgs can benefit more from adren, and at the same time the support skulks (you need them to take out structures, trust me) can get cel and fly around munching on IPs.
The thing is that all the skulks pre-rush have to have at least 22 res on them. that way when they evolve + the time it takes to get to where the pack is heading will supply you with enough to spam a OT or 2. this excludes the main gorg. he has to be there from the start getting, oh id say 2 nodes before everythign can go down... and cant forget about at least 2 of prefered upgrade chamber.
If you want to give it a legitimate try look for me, Commander Kittens, on [WHO] modified 2 between 3-10 pm EST. that timeframe is an estimate.
