We have few times builded siege in marine start at ns_bast while aliens are building Wol "under" the base (you know behind that big elevator thingie) and sieges can hit 'em.

that was why i wanted lerk cling to be implemented - lerks could stay above a turret farm and take out all the turrets w/out getting hit.

IMO sieges can shoot almost straight up and down.
