From what I've read from a previous post in relation to those, Fps/refresh rate can strain your eyes.
Perhaps, you're just confusing that and the endgame, when you seem to realise things like your eyes hurting.
You see a little bigt more and everybpdy else gets confused by the flickering, especially skulks.
Welder brightness has been corrected to help out ppl with sensitive eyes in 1.1 =D Or at least I think?
How can you people play without vsync? Doesn't the frame tearing annoy you? I personally can't stand frame tearing in my games.
In fact I'm suffering a migrane from it right now. <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->

How did you know??? <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->
Yeah, I have my gamma at 5.0.... It's just sooo much easier.
So it doesn't feel like you're staring into the sun.
Usually high gamma can be considered so, but I guess it's a mixed blessing if I'm playing against someone who feels like their head is going to explode because they have such high gamma.
NS is nice and creepy for me... and i can use a welder for hours. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
