<div class="IPBDescription">We got hit AGAIN! :(</div>Well damn it. Tonight a second tornado came very close to where I live. This time though instead of going east, it went north, up towards UCO where I go to school. There is a lot of damage, but since its dark they really won't know how much damage has been done until the morning. But early reports seem to indicate that even though the tornado itself wasn't as strong as yesterdays, today it went through a much more populated area, so there is probably more damage.
Also, this one ripped across almost half the state, lasting much much much longer than the last one. It started to the west of Oklahoma City in some small towns and just went right across the whole damned north side of town...
Nobody really knows anything as of now because really the only shots we have are from helicopters w/ spotlights.

Yeah... I guess DOOM's not scared because of those horrific games of DOOM he's played.
As far as fearing for my life, not really. We have sirens all over the state for this sort of thing, and our weathermen obviously have more expertise about tornados than anybody else. We're as prepared for this stuff as you possibly could be. Its a much better situation than say the hurricanes in Florida or the earthquakes in California. After all, nobody has died because everybody was ready to take cover and whatnot.
Plus an incredible sense of apathy helps ^_^
Coolies!
last big one i felt was.. i don't know last year? it was only like a 5.0.. the one in 89.. was pretty big 7.1?. i just hope no earthquake happens when i'm crossing over the bay bridges.. sheesh! it's a long way down into freezing cold water.
But when we get them, they can be pretty big.

You put complete faith in a weatherman.
Your screwed.
Whereas, a misprediction about rain will just make someone unhappy.
And a misprediction about a tornado could be the difference between someone being prepared and not.
So, I bet theres a certain degree of reliability.
waiting for the big one to come o_O
Apart from lots of rain
/me ducks as a trailer flies overhead.

Sooooo true. The further north you go, the worse it gets.
When the sun actually shines people are like "WTH? what's that glowing thing?"
