Model Request

<div class="IPBDescription">For my map...</div> Hello modellers,

I was hoping I could get some help. I'm hoping someone could please create a model of a piece of lab equipment for my map, ns_shattered. Basically I want it to be some kind of lasery-probey thing that hangs from the ceiling. A very bad concept sketch:

    It's not that complex a shape, you'd probably be better of just doing it with world brushes. You could use the env_beam ( I think thats what it was called ) to make a smart laser beam too.

    burn, it's a map item, not a model, 1,000 + poly = TOO much... that's kick behind though... you make this yourself?

    As far as you dont run a low end computer it doesnt matter. Its not like your going to spam thousands of them all over the map.

    I definatly want Burncycle's model in my map.

    Keep in mind that a world model is really just about the same as a player model... all of the player models are around 900-1000 polys. So a 1000-poly world model isn't *that* bad, as long as you're only going to be seeing one of them.

    Del, that's looking good. I was wondering if it could be a little more rounded and elongated, with the tip of the laser pointing slightly downwards?

    EDIT: That "thingie" is just about perfect. Is anyone able to skin it?
