<div class="IPBDescription">Possible?</div> I was thinking about this on the way to work today, and couldn't find anything about it on the search function, so....
What if you gave the Marines the possibility to destroy all three hives if they complete a set of objectives (say 10 welds, in a set order, across the map).
Then the marines could decide whether they were going to go for the usual hive lockdown/jp rush etc. strategy, or they could decide to try for the secondary objectives game-win tactic.
Pros: Might make three-hive games very interesting (the marines haven't lost until the last welder is dead!)
Cons: May place too much power in the hands of the marines, aliens would certainly have to work more tactically, I can't currently think of an equivalent for aliens as command consoles can be anywhere on map.
Ideas?
