Ns_remix Wad

I used this 3rd party wad when I compiled my map. Do I need to include it in my .res file? I mean does my server have to download the ns_remix .wad to the server clients along with the .bsp and .spr files? Thanks for your help.

    Yes, unless ns_remix.wad becomes a standard file in the NS 1.1 distrobution, but that doesn't seem likely. The only .wad files you can count on people already having are the ones that come with official maps in the 1.1 release, along with ns.wad, valve.wad, liquids.wad, and other original halflife wads; for example, you also can't count on them having zhlt.wad, since you can't assume that everyone who plays NS is also going to have map creation tools.

    zhlt.wad is meant to be wad-included anyway <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Well the sure-fire way would be to use wadinclude when compiling them map.
    I recommend that whenever you use wads that are not:
    1.) WADs of you normal half-life
    2.) WADs that came with NS
    3.) ns_yourmap.wad
