My birthday is next monday and ppl keep asking me what I want for a b-day present because they have no idea what I need or want.     The older the get, the more confused you normally get as what to ask for. Then you finally just dont ask for anything, and resign to getting sweaters and mugs.

    Ask for money. Then cruise around town and impulse buy!

    Nah, ppl in my family usually dont give money for b-day presents so thats probably not gona work.
