Biggest Fault Of The Animatrix

Rightio, having seen all the 9 eps and nearly dying from over-excitement I can safely say the biggest problem of the Animatrix is that NONE of the stories explain how Zion or the resistance is set up.

Would have been rather interesting too see.....

The Second Renaissance Part III anyone?

Wasn't that explained in the first movie? The first One born in the Matrix freed the 'first of them'. Zion seems pretty logical, as those freed ones need a place to live. Sure, wasn't shown explicitly, but the references are there.

I stated it in the other Animatrix topic, and I'll say it again: I'd love to see the Matrix story told through the same form that they had in the Renissance. Sure, we have Reloaded and Revolutions to complete the universal story, but it just feels like the actual story for Renissance never finished.

Kind of like those @$^*^!#@ annoying Outer Limits' endings, God, I hate those type of endings...

Yes they explain it, BUT you have to make your own deductions from it.

It would have been nice if the Wachowski Brothers had written a 'Tale of Zion' story to be produced for the Animatrix... (They wrote the story for The Second Renaissance Part I and II, but was left to be directed by Mahiro Maeda) So yeah, I would have enjoyed a Part III.... oh well. I can dream.

I would be banned if I told you how.

I assume that's hint enough of how I saw them.

Doomie, there's a DVD due to be released soon. The way those work, screener copies are sent out to critics and whatnot, quite a bit in advance of the actual release. Similarly, on occasion the families of those who worked on a feature are given pre-release copies.

Needless to say, there are many rips out already.

Well, it's not like it isn't pretty common knowledge. :b Didn't give any links or recommendations on how to get it. So AFAIK, no real reason for a lock.

Besideswhich, cats don't like being stuffed in little sacks like that.
