<div class="IPBDescription">It's about the forum 'smilies'</div>Hi there! I just joined the Natural Selection forums and the first thing I noticed was how 'tatty' the smilies look with all those little white bits around them!

    Welcome welcome. Not to spoil your thunder, but Ikonboard actually have a smilie set for dark backgrounds on their site already. Its just the people in charge are too busy creating the mod of the year.

    Just out of interest: Would it be possible for you to compress those images a tad. At the moment they may run through bandwitdh a bit, and they contain very few colours.

    Incase you want to reduce the filesize (544b compared to 1601b), but the animation isnt exactly the same.

    I use a program like paint shop pro and under 'transparency' select 'ares that match this color' and paint the background with some neutral colour to indicate transparency.

    With all these new things I think it might be nice to raise the limit by one or two. That way there's room for a face and the now very popular marine vs alien.
