anyone knows?
I am in the market to buy a digital camera but I am really confused on which camera to get. I know that I want to get a camera that has at least >4-5 megapixel and my budget limit is about US$560 but then there are so many out there and the ones that do meet my current requirements seem to be missing something which i cannot pinpoint.
For example so far i have found the FujiFilm FinePIx F601 (http://www.fujifilm.co.uk/fujidc/fp601/info.html) to be a good choice. Good price and it outpus 6 Megapixel apparently but then other websites liek Cnet.com are listing it as 3.1 megapixel. So i really dunno wats the deal with tht.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

You could try
http://www.dpreview.com/
The camera records images using a 3.1 mpixel screen, which is then interpolated by the cameras hardware to form an image of 6.03 mpix maximum.

Hope that helps.
Hmm so from my understanding in actualality it only does 3.1 Megapixel but then "changed" by internal hardware to 6 megapixel. I guess i got to go to the shop and get it demostrated to see how well that really works out.
