Pushing The Description Of "art".

<div class="IPBDescription">There are other artforms.</div> I know this may seem a tad out of place, but this is the "art" forum, so to me this seems right. To me, music is, as with standard drawing, digital composition and so on, is an artform. And also, there's no music forum, so i guessed this is probably the most fitting place.

But anyway, i've pretty much just got through capturing my feeling on being overidden by Kharaa in a last stand into a 60 second piece which is as yet untitled and unmastered in any such way. It will also feature as the intro track for my next cd. But anyway, if anyone is interested, you can download the mp3 <a href='http://deus.org.uk/files/newpiece.mp3' target='_blank'>here</a>.

Forum mods: feel free to phase this wherever you think it is more suitable. If not here.

I listened to the mp3 around midnight after seeing X-Men 2,

BTW: this shouldn't be moved to eldewhere, music is of at least equal importance to the definition of art as are drawings or animations.

/me thinks you should make a longer track of about 6 mins, I really do, it would pwn <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

In the end this will be extended, but not by much, up to around 2-3 minutes, as i said it's going to be the introduction track to my new cd i'm working on. Shall have bombastic drums and so on, will be very cool when done, i hope <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'>

Nice, but i think the violin(or whatever) part is a bit too repetitive... its the same thing quietly, then softly.... take a solo.... DO something special.. you got a perfect backround, build on it.

Overall... VERY nice feel, really captures a "Holy *!@& I am going to die" feel. At least for me..
