<div class="IPBDescription">Mic problems</div> Ok, i just got done lookin through the forum and found nothing on this so here goes. I just went out and bought a pair of Platronics DSP-500 headset with mic. It runs through the usb ports with digital audio. My mic works fine in everything but ns. Works in FA, CS, Teamspeak, yada yada yada. The mic is bound to mouse3 but i'm gonna try changing it to a diff. key to see if that might fix it. If anyone has any suggestions please help. If my system specs are required here they are. ASUS A7V333 mobo, 640mb ddram pc2100 kingston, AMD ATHLON XP 1800+, GeForce4 ti4400 128mb DDRAM, 1.5mb/s down and 500kb/s up cable connection, please help me out if you can so I can get back to blowing **** up, Thanks.

if you wana com you HAVE to change it (odd bug, not sure why)

as for the rest...

lets play with your config.cfg

MP3Volume "0.800000"
bgmvolume "1.000000"
hisound "1.000000"
suitvolume "0.250000"
volume "0.800000"

play with those, make sure they are in reonable ranges

gotta have this one: sv_voiceenable "1"

try checking this three also:

voice_forcemicrecord "1.000000"
voice_enable "1"
voice_scale "0.750000"


note those were ALL copied and pasted from my config and spund works for me soooo......
