Evil Glory (near the south hive):

Soon to get some bast-esque spotlighting for some more contrast and highlights. A few particles as well, I hope.
Entrance area:

This is an EXTREMELY early shot of the main entrance hallway to the center of the map (glory corridor, heh). Still lots of room to work with. The egg is off to the left and the Triad accessible to the right a ways.
The sky:

Chalupamonk rocks. No other way to put it. Still a work in progress, but it'll be about like this in-game. Now to add the areas where you can see it!
I'll also be uploading a .zip with the bsp and sky momentarily, so hurry and get on the list if you want to see this build in-game. A lot of temporary stuff, but some things I need comments on.

I'd guess I'm at the 75-80% layout mark... At any rate, I'm hoping to have the level in playtesting by the weekend after this one.

I want bsp! NOW.
Not a whole lot too see in the first pic :\ but second is awesome. And that sky rox j00 box.
2nd shot: do not change a thing, especially the lighting
That sky should go well with eclipse
good work
anywho, luh the sky.. reminds me of mars.
And I agree with mouse, DON'T change ligthing in 2nd pic!
I can't just leave that second shot exactly how it is, though... I quite literally tossed that room together in a few minutes and just was testing to see if the lighting was going in the right direction. I have to say it turned out a hell of a lot better than I expected, but that room is simply not finished and will require lighting tweaks to finalize when I add in the other details. The base lighting will NOT change, though, so the overall appearance shouldn't change too much.
Oh, and Flay -- Playable build, 9-10 days. My word. Short of a devastating compile or run-time error, I will NOT budge from that.
As for the second picture, I am torn between advising you to leave it as it is, and also to spice up the texturing a bit. I'm sure you will work out which. I love the pipes though, they will certainly be fun from the alien point of view.
And I have already told you waht I think of the sky, but in game with extra gamma I take back my comment about the further tower. I think this looks beautiful, and props to Chalupa. I know how hard it is to satisfy KFS (stop giggling, not like that ), but that is magnificent. All we need now are skylights and windows galore, with some tasty orange-red lighting shining in, no?
