As a skulk I like to get a marine to chase me and then dive off into a pit or some area where if you fall there you die. I ll jump right on over and cling to the wall and watch as the marine blindly jumps over and falls to his death.
Or he thinks Im dead and so goes back to building whatever he was doing before and i come back and chomp him from behind.
One time I was a lone skulk, fighting against 6 marines (This was in the first days after NS came out). The map was ns_nothing and they didn´t bother to even teams, so I decided to play stealthy. I waited near doorways for marines to run by and quickly slipped through, stayed in the dark and generally stood out of sight by climbing walls, and all of a sudden I found myself in front of their CC which was unguarded. Long story told short, I killed their entire base in a matter of minutes, took five of them out and all of a sudden was kicked by console for hacking... and all of that for being cautious.

I reall love to use stealth as a <!--emo&::skulk::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='skulk.gif'><!--endemo--> but one problem for me is when to use it properly, i mean, the levels in NS are HUUUGE and unless your really near the rine base chances are your not going to see many rines, so when i go stealthy i either end up wasting my time 'cos i never see anyone or the blasted rines have motion tracking or something along those lines... also, since ive only been playing for a few weeks now (just starting to really get the hang of it) ive only used the sensory chamber 2 or 3 times <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->
in pub games everyone ALWAYS goes DC first, then MC and lastly SC, but by the time you've got a 3rd hive, everone else is destroying every piece of marine there is, so ya can't use any stealth since there isn't anyone to kill <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
and as a reply about regen on skulks, i think its great, i use it all the time <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> just use hit and run tactics, then wait about 10 seconds so ur good as full health and go charging in again, its great for hassling the enemy base before the second hive, also. Also if you get attacked before you reach where you wanna go, and you live, ur gonna be on low health a fair amount of the time, and with regen ya just keep on running and you'll get healed <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
