WOOT! MGS1 remade w/ MGS2 graphics *AND GAMEPLAY* :D :D :D :D It'll be the bestest Metal Gear EVER if they don't fudge it up!

Some may be upset that they are re-doing Shadow Moses instead of something new, but two things make me proclaim YAY instead! 1) Metal Gear Solid on PC, which wasn't a great port to begin with, is broken under Windows XP. So I can no longer play one of my favoritest games of all time. And 2) After seeing what happens when they do "new" with MGS2, I think I'll stick w/ something I know rocks thank you. :)

Now if only they'd remake the ORIGINAL Metal Gear, and also Metal Gear 2... THAT would be the pwn of pwns...

I never found metal gear all that interesting myself...

All that "I'm going to try out 41089247 different items and weapons on this lock and bash 71890423 soldiers heads against the terminal before I figure out how to open this freaking door than I could just as easily blow to smitherines with a nice pack of C-4 or C-8."

It's supposed to be a puzzle solving game with adventure and shooting and somehow it just doesn't appeal to me.

I will give it Kudos for good storyline though, very nice.

I didnt like the last one. Its like 10 minutes of an actual game vs. 10 hrs of cinema.

Now the guys that did Eternal Darkness are some of the best "Storyline-into-action" people I know

Shigeru Miyamoto has an emphisis on games that are fun. This seems to be looking very nice indeed....
