KFS's avatar; my final painting project
I needed a break from thesising, and a conversation with KungFuSquirrel (of ns_eclipse and Nightwatch fame) spawned the idea of the existence of KFS's arch-nemesis... Tae Kwon Do Chipmunk!!!!!
Lo and behold, as if summoned by the mere utterance of his name, TKDC revealed himself:

I showed it to KFS, who immediately wanted it as an avatar; I didn't have the heart to tell him that this was actually supposed to be KFS's mortal enemy... so I made him the avatar anyway. The kanji behind the avatar says "squirrel."

And lastly, an update on my final project in my painting class. Contrary to some misconceptions, this isn't my thesis - my thesis is a novella I'm writing, which is currently 70 pages and will likely stretch to 90-100 before it wraps up. It's due Monday. /:
My final painting project is a piece spread across three canvases. For scale, the length of the top canvas is 3 feet (~92cm). This is a work-in-progress, a photoshop coloring job of the original concept sketch I did for the painting. Once the painting itself is finished, I'll take some photos of it.
Remember, work in progress.
