    Ok, just no ejector port because that's only on the riht side unless you want me to put it on the left...

    but other than that dont change it unless you want to brush it up or something
  • JamilJamil Join Date: 2002-11-02 Member: 4829Members
    I think it needs some touch ups for correctness. The back of the stock should lineup with the rest of the gun. And I can't really see it, but you should probably also model the ejection port.

    i agree with jamil sorry lazer

    Why would I model the ejector port when it's on the right side of the model and you only see the left side in game? I could easilly do it because its already modelled in there just on the right side...
  • SickleSickle Join Date: 2003-01-02 Member: 11713Members
    just do whatever you think would look good i guess
  • JamilJamil Join Date: 2002-11-02 Member: 4829Members
    Because you've got polys to waste? <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Just for the hell of it really. It's an overall better job if you add them in. But that's just my opinion. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
    I don't know if you've ever heard of models not being mirrored correctly. It's a problem that appeared in CS when you would switch from right handed models to left handed models. Often times the modellers wouldn't bother and just make the left handed model an exact mirror image of the right hand, so the ejector port would appear on the wrong side of the gun. Silliness like that. :>

    Put it in if you like, at least give it some thought. Your model might be used for other mods in the future. Who knows?

    Alright, added the grooves and fixed the stock...

    Ejector port wrong side. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
    And make sure you add a box over the port so that when it animates, the uhhh thing can move back and forth.

    I wasn't going to put the port there, but when I had it on the other side people were complaining. I'm just going to get rid of it because there is no point in having an ejector port in the first place if you never see it.

    I do, its just a lot of work and I have way too much to worry about right now.

    -ns_icarus, a map im working on and I want to do a good job with it and maybe get it to be an official one.
    -other models
    -this model
    -my cs clan
    -my ns clan
    -tons of homework

    Don't worry though, I haven't forgotten about it.

    OMG! it is teh pwnage! finally, a rifle with the apparently forgotten bullpup design in NS. I mean, seriously, was the NS Model & Skins team out to lunch when a memo came in about how nations are starting to use the bullpup design more because its just as powerful as a standard rifle (ie: M-16A2) but smaller. Give or take a little accuracy, but the Steyr AUG is wonderfully accurate anyway.

    TRANSLATION: w00t. keep up the good work lazer.

    uhm, accuracy-wise, it's not take. it's give, give give give, a lot of giving. also jamil, the "thing" that goes back and forth is the bolt.

    always here to give gun info.
