Yo guys... i was wondering. When I download new skin models for ns to a folder, and double click it it goes Open With (List of programs) I also accidentally clicked acroreader so now when i dl those type of files and dc it goes cant open file. how do I make the skins work for NS!?

There, you'll have a dialog box letting you pick the program, but in the bottom there is a checkbox saying something to the effect of "Always open with this program"
Just select the correct program for opening your file. I'm assuming it's probably a zip file for models... and just select the proper program, check that box, and click ok.
This is all windows XP, from what I'm seeing on my system, but you'll probably find it easily.
If you're running say, 98, you can open a folder, go to tools-> folder options and i believe it's the middle tab, where you can change file associations.
