<div class="IPBDescription">eh. "Little problems with my FpS"</div> Anyway I can get around 70 fps, or 90 fps, but it seems to demolish to 40 or 30 fps when I am near loads of structures. Specially when I am near a phase gate. I use p4 1.7 ghz with 512 sdr ram (arg) with ati radeon 9000, used to have 9500 but I traded in for 9000 cause with 9500 it still ****, same thing happen with 9500. Anyway, just wanna know if there's anyway I can fix this. like a new sound card, or anything really. I also use USB port for my sound card, dont really know if the damage my fps. Anyway, thanks for your time for reading this.

    Disable v-sync. If you have not already. Also, have your monitor refresh at 85-100 hertz.

    Strange, I have a P4 - 2.0 Ghz - 512mb RAM - GeForce2 and I get about 75 fps around a phase, 85 around a lot of buildings, and 100 in clean rooms <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->.

    Try this (assuming you are using Catalyst drivers...hopefully v3.1): Open Video Properties, Settings tab, click Advanced button, OpenGL tab, Compatibility Settings button at the bottom. Force Z-buffer to 24-bit and set Support KTX buffer region extension to Enabled. Those 2 changes seemed to stabilize my FPS as long as the autohelp isn't on. I get a constant 100 fps now unless autohelp drops down a message. A couple of messages and I drop down to 30 fps. Of course, I disable autohelp <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    A good test I found was ns_misslecommand map. Before I made the changes I would get 50-60 fps in that map almost all the time. Now I'm steady 100 fps. Let me know if that helps you at all.
