I have installed a NS server on my FreeBSD 4.7 box.
Without adminmod installed on it, i worked great, but when i installed adminmod i just get Connection timed out when i try to connect to the server.

What is wrong and how do i fix it?

    What version of AM?

Also, make sure that you are using the most current metamod.

FreeBSD's linux_base port uses mostly RedHat libs. Therefore, the RedHat+Adminmod bug is likely causing your server to crash and restart. From the client end, this shows up as a "connection timed out". Grab the custom adminmod build by DrGiggles, and give that a try. See the stickied thread "Ns Server V1.04 With Adminmod On Redhat 7.3 And 8".
