na it will use the onos hitboxes in game when your shooting it...but it will have its own...the old ones will be used because they are coded into the game...however if you miss something as big as an onos you should prolly just play skulk all the time...or learn how to comm

what about placing some "infected" zones on its carapace with an opacity of 60-80% ?? it will make it look more realistic(now it looks just like metal or leather)

Hudson 's got it and is animating and Im working on the skin. I should be done by the end of the week and Hudson has always done the animation pretty fast.

A little piece of advice to you, Hudson, while animating the Ultralisk... take the time to give *everything* motion, especially in animations like walking and running. One of the things I disliked about the zergling animations was that everything was isolated - when it ran, only its legs moved. When it attacked, there was some nasty stretching because the upper body moved while the rear half did not. Taking a little extra time will make a world of difference... don't let these goons pressure you into releasing. (:
ok...so the mutalisk is only life support, in coma, with the odds stacked for it to wake up some time in the next few weeks, k. its not dead, i'll take that back, just...err...vegetablized (see:turned into a vegetable)!

like i said before, in attack and movement animation , only half of the skeleton is called in action by teh game, another half ignored.
that's the reason why u won't see the rear body move when it attacks, and the front body kinds stills when it moves. everything is split up at the pelvis bone.

Erm, to note the fact that many a model we all anticipate and love (ie: the pending starcraft gauss rifle, mutalisk, etc) are on hold and will not debut until a wee while after NS 1.1 comes out because of: -Animation changes -Hitbox changes -Other misc changes
THUS, i theorize that all leet modelers in teh NS community are waiting for a while afterwards to edit their models after 1.1 so they still work.

If you guys ever say to yourselves, "Hey, I bet it would look really awesome if I ha<b>n</b>d shaded every single scales on this giant model!" then just shoot yourself in the face. It does look good but it's taking a bit longer than I expected. All I have to do is the mainbody section and then remaster it a bit.
