Conker's Bad Fur Day, Who's Played It?

I have a crazy Idea that fans would like
Ok, if you've played this game, you KNOW it's awesome. I love it dearly, one problem... It's on a console. I'd LOVE to play this game online with you guys and what not. My idea? A Conker's Bad Fur Day MOD for Half-Life!

But anyway, what's your favorite part in this game? I'd have to say the "War Chapter" especially the intro for it!

Yeah Conkers Bad Fur Day was a class game.
I play the Beach stage every now and then
with friends for a laugh.
As much as i'd love to see it on my PC, it
wouldn't run very well on the Half-life engine.

Take the beach map for example:
It's FAR too open and we all know how much
the Half-Life engine hates open area's.
Maybe on teh Unreal Tournament 2003 engine
or the Half-Life 2 engine.

Again........ GREAT GAME!

Yeah, but if you think about it. Most of the Areas in Conker's were pretty Small, the big one's were the Multi-player ones.

This was THE BEST Nintendo 64 game WITHOUT A DOUBT. Possibly one of the best console games EVER. Hell, i remember when they first anounced it, it was going to be another one of those crappy "banjo kazooie" games. But then...Rare took an amazing turn. Its sooo funny. (Remember when Conker first visits the Grim Reaper?)

Sure it made no sense, but it was just hilarious. and the matrix part was awesome. For those of you that have no idea what this is:

You have to bounce on a flower's breasts to get to another area, only after she is "pollenated" by the king bee. (you know what i mean)

yeah, its worth buying an old Nintendo 64 just for this game.

its very possible to play Conker online. It just takes a bit of emulation know-how. Im not going to go into details how (tis in the gray to black legal area), but if youve played online using MAME before, the method is very similar..

Played it, loved it, got the mp3s.

I really don't think it would work as a multiplayer game, or even a sequel.

Yeah Ive played it, great fun, both Goldeneye and Perfect Dark were better though, Conker just doesn't have any replay value, plus its 3rd person only which is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

Y'know all this n64 chat in the off-topic is making me want to rummage through the mess in my bedroom and dig the old black box out again..I think I gave all the games away except Goldeneye, but still..

Might hit the 2nd hand shops and look for a copy of Turok3 or something..

Gregg The Grim Reaper was da man.

::Conker is laying in the middle of the floor as this big shadow grows
nearer::

Gregg (In deap voice): Conker. Conker! Conker!! Yes, you boy. You're
dead. You are dead! Dead as a Dodo. Deader than a...

*Gregg walks out holding megaphone as the megaphone stops working properly*

Gregg: I can't be arsed with this bloody ridiculous contraption. Whose
idea was this anyway? Right. Hello. Um, my name's Gregg, the Grim Reaper
and don't laugh!

Conker: Aren't you a little short to be a grim reaper?

Gregg: Well, how many grim reapers have you met before mate? What am I
supposed to look like?

Conker: Yeah. Good point and well made.

Gregg: Now. Let's see...

*Scroll appears in front of Gregg*

Gregg: Ah. Yes. Conker... surname?

Conker: The squirrel.

Gregg: The squirrel...the..

*Scroll vanishes*

Gregg: Oh bloody hell you would have to be a sodding squirrel wouldn't you?

Conker: Why, is there a problem with that?

Gregg: Well, yes there is, actually. It's like those bloody cats. Such a
pain in the arse. You're one of these "special cases."

Conker: Oh really.

Gregg: Yes. Apparently according to the powers that be...I'm just doing my
job. I do what I'm told. I don't even get paid very much. Apparently,
squirrels can have as many lives as they think they can get away with.

Conker: Oh. I see. So, I'm not dead.

Gregg: You're dead...but not...quite...

Conker: Huh. Right. Well, uh, I'll be off then.

*Conker starts to walk off*

Gregg: JUST YOU WAIT!

*Greg brings his scyth down in front of Conker's path*

Gregg: Smart arse. You don't get out of it that easily. Now. The thing
is, you may not be dead, but that doesn't mean you can't die. You just
have a few more....shall we say...chances. Yes. Like cats. I hate those
things! Distributed around your little world are these tail things.
Squirrels' tails. If you can get them, I'll give you an extra chance.
Understand?

Conker: Um..well, sounds a bit strange, but okay.

Gregg: STRANGE? It's the best bloody deal you're going to get you little
****. Right. That's it. **** off. I've got some cats to see.

*Greg walks off murmuring*

Gregg (murmuring): Bloody things. I hate those bloody cats. They way they
meow and they **** everywhere, and their **** smells just bloody awful, all
over my furniture...

Yeah, loved the second one, deathmatch mode was great fun. Just never played 3, so kinda curious.

Never got round to the shops anyway, spent the day surfing the net and listening to music instead.

hehehe, turok 2 was unbalanced, I am basically invincible in that game, I just use the starting unlimited ammo crossbow and get headshots, I got so good at it that I never hit anything else, just the head, people would yell at me to use a different gun, good times... Anyone know if Rage wars or Turok 3 is more balanced?

Back on topic: remember the tank mode? It was sooooo fun, too bad it sucked unless you had 4 players, and then there were the mutant killer army teddy bears. Still, not the best 64 game...

Rage Wars was just Deathmatch levels, and Turok MP doesn't ever seem balanced.
