does Q2beaver make a .log of the compile process? if so, post it so we can see if there is an error to solve.

I had the same problem with Worldcraft, a friend told me that on my settings i needed to direct where compiled maps should be placed

    C:/sierra/half-life/ns/maps thats mine

    1. Have you got the map in ....\ns\maps ?
    2. Have you got some info_player_starts ?
    3. Have you got 3 Hives ?
3b . Are there info_team_starts with team set to 2 at each hive ?
    4. Have you got some info_team_starts with team set to 1 at the marine spawn ?
    5. team_command for the command chair ?
    6. and finally an info_mapinfo entity ?

Incase you have all those things , i have no idea what the problem could be .

sorry i think i misunderstood your question , i have no clue about q2beaver.
Try to use <a href='http://www.planethalflife.com/eddi' target='_blank'>ZHLT Compile guy</a> or another batch compiler

Are you saying the compiler frontend (Q2beaver) could not find the map, or is Half-Life not finding the map?

If it's the former, check whatever documentation came with Q2beaver on how to point it to the .map files it needs to start the compile.

If it's the latter, check where the compiler is saving your .bsp files, it might not be copying them to your /ns/maps folder when it's done. Or check to make sure the compiler isn't encountering any errors that are preventing it from completing the .bsp
