Cant open the wad?
Every time I try to play this map, it gives an error saying "Warning: Cannot open valve/Wall_tech.wad"

Am I missing something? I've checked NS world, they have no record of said map, so I'm assuming it's in the install, but...

    Im not entirely sure what you mean, so Ill just ask general questions;

    Did you download ns_europa?
    Did you instal it to the right directory?
    Is the wall_tech.wad located in your valve folder? ns folder?

    A wad used by the map was obviously not released with the zip you got it from. Unless the map actually uses textures from it (and doesn't just reference it), you can take an existing wad (preferably the lowest one in size), duplicate it, then rename it to wall_tech.wad and that should allow you to play the map. Oh, the wad has to be in /ns/ or /valve/, too.

    If there WERE textures from that wad being used, you'll see missing textures wherever they might be. Of course, you're best off just emailing the author of the map and going 'oi!'

    There's no Wall_tech.wad anywhere, in /valve/ or /ns/. :/

    I'll try the renaming thing, and stuff.

    wall_tech.wad was in the zip I released.

    Sounds to me like you may have downloaded Europa from a game server, thereby not receiving any of the extra files you need (like models and skies).

    That's a pretty map, though the layout is not my favorite. Try downloading it from www.mayberrygames.com under the Natural Selection section ofcourse. That's where I got my version so you're guaranteed it's gonna work. Have fun!
