Phase Gate Doesn't Work For Me?

<div class="IPBDescription">Reinstalled NS and it still doesn't...?</div> Hey there.

I'm hoping that someone knows the solution to this because I haven't found anything on it.

I am currently unable to use phase gates, as either an alien or a marine. Movement chambers for aliens work fine. Everything else seems to work as normal.

I've deleted the NS folder and reinstalled the client, but that didn't fix the problem. If anyone knows where I could look to fix this problem, please let me know. Thanks.

This may be a silly question, but when you walk up to the phase gate, do you hit your 'Use' key?

Unless I missed something somewhere, all you had to do to "use" the gates was walk over them. This worked fine for me up until about a week or so ago, when out of nowhere all I could do was get telefragged at phase gates. They simply don't work for me at all anymore.

You need to press your use key, just like when you use a movement chamber. This change was implemented in the 1.04 server patch. If you were able to just walk into a phase gate in a game a week ago, you may have been playing on a < 1.04 server.
