These are 2 basic wire frame concept drawings for a pistol model. They are still in basic 3d. I havnt rendered them all the way yet so they will look blocky. Once I round out the edges and apply some textures with PSP and PS6 it will look a lot better.
The 3rd image is my quick job ( I mean quick, I did it in less then 3 min lol) version of the HALO marine hand gun. I shortened the magazine, got rid of the laser/scope thingy, and I reduced the trigger guard to a more standard size. It could be nicer but i didnt have the time, I just whipped this up b/c I saw the post about a HALO pistol model and I got excited <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Im still learning modeling but until then Im just getting some Ideas out there for what I plan on doing (if I ever get that far lol) If anyone wants so build of my ideas (Ill probably have more in the future, that are better once I put time into them) go right ahead (my wishful thinking lol) just say I helped with basic design concept or something in credits. If the designs look like crap well dont use em lol.
Just keep in mind its one file with 3 separate pics. The wire frame and the custom HALO pistol are not the same gun so please dont post back saying so lol.
The finished desgins I whip out will look more like the HALO concept in terms of the textures and everything. Plus it wont look so crappy as did this 3 min piece .

Ok, you got a bit of work to do.
#1. The grip isnt slanted, its strait up and down.
#2. That funkeh laser sight on ther, not on the original model.
#3 Iron sights are ok, but....woah none on the model...let those stay.
#4 As you notice the barrle is squeezed between two portions of the gun, its not really on the slide, plus it doesnt jut out.
#5 The trigger gaurd, no. Its not a slanted surface coming down, its a strait L trigger gaurd.
#6 The end of the slide is strait up and down, not slanted.
#7 What is that funkeh thingy on the end of the handle?
Ok, just think of it as a very shortend mac-10 and you almost got yourself there.
or am i blind?

And to greyfox, the wire mesh IS NOT the same gun as the HALO model!! <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> so dont worry heehee
