<div class="IPBDescription">for any gba owners out there</div> i've heard of this really cool gadget:
<a href='http://www.gameboy-advance-sp.com/gba_flash_advance_linker_card.htm' target='_blank'>http://www.gameboy-advance-sp.com/gba_flas...linker_card.htm</a>

No, these tend to use memory sticks/Smartmedia cards. No CDs involved.

And no, I don't know anyplace you can just walk in and buy one retail... normally have to order them online.

And this children, is how ROMs are made.

Other way around, excepting in the case of the WiseBox. These are just flash memory cartridges, and flashmem adaptors. Let you take ROMs *from* the computer and play 'em on your GBA. Which is a good thing in the case of discontinued games, and games which will not be shipped to your country of choice.

What a stupid thing to do, now there will be pirate Game Boy Advanced games. What were they thinking?

There has been pirated gameboy advance game since... when did the Gameboy Advance come out again?

The only console that does not suffer from Homegrown piracy is the Gamecube. That doesn't mean piracy isn't existing, it's just out of the hands of Joe Homeburner and into organized criminals who make pirate copies on professional equipment to be sold from dodgy street vendors' stalls.
