    1400 without a head is going to be another uber-high-poly model. I'd suggest cutting quite a bit of detail out of the hands and feet (you can reduce the claws to 3-sided pyramids and it'll be virtually unnoticeable, especially considering the speed at which skulks move), as well as the dorsal appendages. If you're going to stick with the scythes up top, you can *definitely* bring the detail on those down, since they're flat-edged blades. It doesn't look like you've merged your various groups together (limbs with body, etc), either... your polycount will probably go up a bit once you've done that. *Definitely* need to drop polys where you can.

    The general design looks great, though. (: I prefer the two-claws-on-top concept (due mostly to the <a href='http://www.battle.net/images/battle/scc/zerg/pix/upgrades/aglands.gif' target='_blank'>adrenal gland upgrade graphic</a>), but hey, it's your model.

    ok im still quite new to modelling it seems i'm only good at making high poly stuff <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> .. i have a few questions maybe coil can answer or ollj might know. If i have that pre-existing claw and i want to change it to a 3 sided one how would i do it? .. select it and then what?also yea i didn't connect the different parts like the tail to the body.. how do i connect them? This would be really helpfull knowledge <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> Coil u have any other suggestions?.. all the limbs are 8 sided or so.     Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with the actual tools of Milkshape, as I use 3dsmax. I'm sure others will be able to answer your questions, though. I would reduce the claws by collapsing vertices together.

    slice the limb off at a certin point i would guess witht he select vetices thing then make a shape with the creat your own faces tool that take the shape form 8 sides to 3 ill try to do it and post a screenie

    enforcer i can send you this file and you could just fuse this to your model and stick your claw in the 3 sided hole

    i attached the file down load it and resise it to your wishes

    ill make it bigger cause right now it looks like a dog face tere needs to be a little more space o well heres progress

    edit: made the head larger and added a spike to the side of its mouth

    edit 3: moved the face maror plates around and made it thinner and put it togethe rso you could see what it looked like so far

    edit4: added a little armor plate that stick out on the side so its not quite so boring!

    rduce the size of the head just a tad....
    o yeah enforcer you need to leave places to put joints on your dorsal apendages (back_legs) look at ehis ref pick

    also in the ref pick you can see the back legs are alot bigger than the frount. They are like rabbits

    I’ll fix the proportions later. Right now the most important thing is a finished model.. And del this isn’t that high poly its up about 300 polys from the original. This is more for practise than anything else
